if i see one more status/text post/whatever like “those people chose to live in a tornado prone area” i’m going to throw up. first off, PEOPLE DIED. do you not have a heart at all? not only that but there are problems almost anywhere you can live in the world. floods, hurricanes, forest fires, earthquakes, tornadoes…. and not only that but gun violence, drug problems, so many things! besides, children who had no choice where they lived died in this.

ugh people make me so angry.

UM WHAT. People are actually SAYING THAT?

I haven’t encountered any of that, but my feed is so full of people from Oklahoma that’s probably why. But that’s the most ignorant and disgusting thing I’ve ever heard.

While we’re at it, no one should live in California because we get earthquakes.

No one should live on the coast because they’re prone to hurricanes.

Not to mention extremely destructive tornadoes likes the one from Monday are rare. Most of the time, at worst, they may damage a few roofs. Not ever tornado leaves a two mile path of destruction and has 200mph winds.

Nature is strong and powerful and just about anywhere you live you’re going to have to deal with it in one way or another. If someone can find me a totally safe place to live, let me know, I’d love to live there.

Sorry, this just sort of makes me RAGE. People are so maddening sometimes.

So I sat down at my email

all prepared to start sending out follow up emails to the companies I talked with on Saturday.

And low and behold, I had an email in my inbox saying “Hey, I got your resume. I’d like to set up an time to meet with you and talk about stage managing in our upcoming season if you’re still interested.” This means a) my resume I handed out was passed along and b) she looked at it and liked it.

Guys, I may make my living as a stage manager after all.

Well

job interview happened. Felt like it went well. Hopefully I’ll hear back soon, I hate waiting. I could really use the job though, the pay is pretty good.

Gonna head out to do some errands now. Can’t wait until boyfriend and I are home for some quality time.
